Natalie Hammer’s and Jenna Mustapha’s triumphant returns from injury powered the Hope College women’s soccer team this season.
Both juniors have received all-region recognition from the United Soccer Coaches for their distinguished play during the 2022 season. The region featured teams from Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri and Wisconsin.
Mustapha (Ada, Michigan / Forest Hills Northern HS) is one of four second-team defenders and 38 selections overall.
Hammer (Rockford, Michigan / Rockford) is one of five third-team forwards.
This is Mustapha’s second all-region honor. In 2021, Mustapha received first-team distinction.
