DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Ford Field, the home of the Detroit Lions football team, will host the men’s college basketball Final Four in 2027.
Detroit hosted the Final Four in 2009, when a Michigan State squad led by Draymond Green took a trip to the national title.
The site selection follows the recent trend of Final Four’s being held at indoor NFL stadiums. Detroit is also set to host the 2024 NFL Draft.
