ALLEN PARK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Detroit Lions first-round rookie wide receiver Jameson Williams returned to practice and has been officially designated to return from the Non-Football Injury list.
Williams now has a 21-day window to practice with the team before a decision must be made on whether to activate him to the active roster.
The Alabama product was selected with the 12th overall pick in last April’s NFL Draft. This was the first time Williams has practiced in the NFL after tearing his ACL in January.
The Lions are going for their fourth straight win when they host the Buffalo Bills on Thanksgiving Day.
