He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Busscher, in 2015. They were married for 64 years.
He is survived by his children, Carol (Larry) Ver Strate, Karen (Roger) Moore, Bill (Sandi) Busscher, Cindy (Randy) VanWyk; grandchildren, Scott Ver Strate, Dawn (John) Helm, Joy (Tom) Nelson, Steve (Rochelle) Ver Strate, Tracy (Dean) Driesenga, John (Libby) Casemier, Tyler (Alyssa) Busscher, Ashley Busscher, Kaylin (Bryan) VanDyke, Chase VanWyk; 19 great-grandchildren; siblings, Raymond Busscher, Al (Jackie) Busscher, Gordon Busscher; and in-laws, Esther Dykstra, Earl (Lois) Dykstra, and Bob Dykstra.
Visitation is 5:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Langeland Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th St. Holland, MI 49423.
Funeral services are at 11:00 am on Friday, November 4, 2022, at Graafschap Christian Reformed Church, 5973 Church St. Holland, MI 49423 with Rev. Philip D. Kok officiating.
Burial to take place in Graafschap Cemetery.
