Charles C. Forgette, age 75 of Holland, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022.

Charlie was born March 24, 1947, in Traverse City, MI to Charles and Mary (Terrian) Fogette. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the 101st Airborne Division during the Vietnam War. He worked for General Motors for many years prior to retiring.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary, and a son Kenneth Wagenmaker.

Charlie is survived by his wife Sharon; children Kimberly (Dave) Vander Zwaag, Scott (Renee) Wagenmaker, and Shawn Woodcock; grandchildren Matthew (Amber) Baumann, Cassandra (Anthony) Huyser, Christopher Wagenmaker, Matthew Wagenmaker, Andy Wagenmaker, Zachary Wagenmaker, Chloe Wagenmaker, Brayan Dawson, Adriana Woodcock, Lydia Woodcock, and Eric Woodcock; great-grandchildren Ava Baumann, Kaydence Braden, Raygan Braden, Gannon Braden, Mayzee Braden, Lily Wagenmaker; sister-in-law Beth (Lee) Erickson; many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

A funeral service to celebrate Charlie’s life will be 12noon Saturday, November 5, 2022, at West Olive CRC, 8374 1st Ave., West Olive, MI with the Rev. Rick Carpenter officiating.

Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from10:00am until the time of the service Saturday at the Church.
