Lorena “Jayne” H. Flieman, age 95, of Holland passed away Friday, October 14, 2022, at Resthaven Care Center.
Jayne was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she was very involved in the Sunday School class for seniors. Jayne had a love for singing, she was in the church choir and sang many solos.
Jayne was a bus driver for Holland Public Schools for 35 years serving special needs children and was fluent in sign language. She was a Dutch Dancer at Dutch Village from her youth to her 80s and was a member of Evergreen Commons.
She had a loving passion for her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, church and school kids, and all the children that she came in contact with over the years.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Flieman Jr. in 1995, her daughter Kathy Ann Flieman-Castor in 1970, her son-in-law Wayne Webb in 2021, and her daughter-in-law Roxanne Flieman in 2022.
She is survived by her children: John (Jody) Flieman of St. Pete Beach, FL; Shevonne and Dave Hartfield of Allegan; Rylenn and Linda Flieman of West Olive; Bob Flieman of Hudsonville; Patti Webb of Holland; Tom and Bonnie Flieman of Holland; Laura and Jerry Norton of Orlando, FL; 9 grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren; sister: Connie (Gary) DeHaan of Zeeland; many nieces, nephews, and cousins

A funeral service will be 11:00 am, Friday, October 21, 2022, at Calvary Baptist Church, 517 West 32nd Street in Holland. Rev. Ben Hernández will be officiating. Burial will be in Graafschap Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 pm, Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Dykstra Funeral Homes-Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street in Holland. Memorial contributions may be given to Calvary Baptist Schools or Calvary Baptist Churches’ Sunday School Senior Class.
