Born in Flint Michigan March 10, 1962. He is survived by his children and grandchildren: David Jr. and Sarah Suttle (Elizabeth, Lillie, and Sadie), Amanda (Jesse Kindig) Suttle, Madalyn, Sarah, and Lilly), Melissa Suttle, his siblings: Amy Barnes, Ruth Veit, Billy Suttle, and Billy Scott, and many nieces and nephews.
David married his high school sweetheart On October 11, 1980. David moved from Flint to Northern Michigan in 1987, where he enjoyed a career in logging. He raised his family on a small farm and helped with the local 4H Club. David also enjoyed snowmobiling, NASCAR races, and hunting. He had a passion for his dogs and loved breeding and raising hunting dogs. You could always catch him attending football and baseball/softball games for his kids. He was very proud of all the accomplishments of his children, and sure loved all of his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother Amy, father Bill, brother Arthur Barnes, and wife Tomalynn Suttle.
Per David’s wish, he was cremated. He will be interred at Knop Cemetery in Wilson Township, Behling and Wilson Roads, Boyne City, Michigan. There will be a small graveside service in November for his family. www.yntemafh.com
