Martha “Marti” DeLaLuz Jimenez Schrotenboer, age 79, of Holland, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, December 27, 2018.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn Schrotenboer, her children: Rosalind and Robert Skiles, Ann and Derek Mc Millan, Anita Ryan and Chris and Stacie Jimenez; grandchildren: Jessica and Brad De John, Jacquelin Jimenez and her fiancé Michael Doran, Rachael Skiles, Robby Skiles and Julian Jimenez; stepdaughters: Michelle Decker and Lynn and Larry Blourne; her siblings: Robert and Irene DeLaLuz, Stella Burns, Noel and Terese DeLaLuz, Rick DeLaLuz, and Elizabeth DeLaLuz; brothers and sisters-in-laws: Joseph and Martha Jimenez, Baleriano Jimenez, Dorothy Aguilera, Laverne Koning, Juella Schrotenboer, Shirley Schrotenboer and Marilyn and Tom Bratt.
Marty was preceded in death by her first husband, Luis Jimenez in 2007.
Marti was a former member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and is a member of St Francis de Sales Catholic Church. She had worked at Life Savers, Peoples State Bank, she worked as a bilingual aid at West Ottawa Schools, Douglas Elementary and Fennville Public Schools and she was a nanny for the Mocini family. Marti loved to dance and to watch her grandchildren play sports.

Street, Holland. The funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 7, 2019 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 171 West 13
th
Street, Holland. Interment will be in Graafschap Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to St Francis de Sales Catholic Church or East Saugatuck Christian Reformed Church.
