Beverly Vanderwall, age 68, of Borculo
,
passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019.
Beverly was born July 6, 1950, in Zeeland, to Julius and Mildred (Lokers) VanderHill. She married Ken Vanderwall in 1971. Bev and Ken both graduated from Holland Christian High School in 1968, the first graduating class in the “new” high school. Bev and Ken are members of Borculo Christian Reformed Church. She was preceded in death by her twin daughters, Julia Rose and Kimberly Jean in 1987.
Bev enjoyed her family and friends. She was an excellent cook and baker and her love language was hospitality. Sadly now, Bev’s kitchen is closed.
Beverly is survived by her husband of 48 years, Kenneth D. Vanderwall; sons Kenneth J. “Jamie” Vanderwall, Kristopher D. and Elisabeth Vanderwall; 4 grandchildren; special friends: Jena Rastettler and her son Anthony; siblings: Sharon (Cal) Poel, Carol (Bob) DeJonge, Steven (Beverly) Vanderhill; in-laws: Marilyn (Don) Oosting, Norma (John) Westhuis, Walt (Phyllis) Vanderwall, Jerry (Gwynne) Vanderwall, Bill (Joanne) Vanderwall; goddaughters: Davina and Angie, many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Visitation will be 2:00-5:00 pm Sunday, at the Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S. State St. Zeeland, MI 49464. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon, Monday, January 28, 2019, at Borculo Christian Reformed Church, 6464 96
