Raymond Lopez Sr., age 61 of Zeeland, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2019.
He is survived by his wife, Melanie; his children: Jamie Householder, Jennifer Lopez, Bobby and Kate Smith, Jonathan Puente, Raymond Jr. and Katie Lopez, Nico Lopez and Coty and Ashley Lopez; his stepson Adam Hatch; and many loved and adored grandchildren; his mother Yolanda Banda Lopez; his siblings: Mary Ann Sanchez, Edwardo and Gloria Lopez and Viola and Joe Sauceda; father-in-law and mother-in-law Delwyn and Sheila Vanden Bosch; brother-in-law Brian Vanden Bosch and many loved nieces and nephews.
Ray proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Navy Special Forces.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State Street, Zeeland. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2019 also at the funeral home. Pastor George Krantz will officiate. Interment will be in Olive Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland.
