Myrtle Lemmen, aged 98, passed away at her home in Holland on Saturday, February 9, 2019, surrounded by her family.
Myrt was a member of Bethany Christian Reformed Church.
Preceding her in death was her husband of 72 years, Marvin J. Lemmen; brothers, Gene Dozeman and Gerald Dozeman; and a sister, Joyce Vander Kamp.
Myrt is survived by her children, Carol Lemmen of Battle Creek, MI, Marvin and Betty Lemmen of West Olive, MI, Roger and Cindy Lemmen of Ossian, IN, Craig and Tyra Lemmen of Ann Arbor, MI; 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, and nephews. She is also survived by a sister, Almira Huizenga; and sisters-in-law, Grace Dozeman, Joyce Dozeman, and Mitz Vander Kamp.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, February 16, 2019, at Bethany Christian Reformed Church, 11 East 32nd Street in Holland. Pastor Daniel Walcott and Rev. Jacob Heerema will officiate. Visitation will follow the memorial service in the church Fellowship Room.
