Colleen L. DeVore (Bekken), age 70 of Douglas, passed away April 12, 2019.
Colleen was born and raised in Douglas, MI and worked at Ev Thomas Insurance for many years. She was an amazing artist who specialized in paintings. Later in life she loved making jewelry and painting figurines. Colleen had an incredible love for animals, specifically her 5 cats. She was a wonderful daughter, cousin, and friend and will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her mother Jeanette Bekken in 2014.
Colleen is survived by her father, Gerald Bekken; close friends, Bonnie, Kathy, Sandy; along with many cousins.
A funeral for Colleen will take place on Thursday, April 18 at 1:00 P.M. with an hour of visitation prior to the service at Dykstra Funeral Home – Saugatuck Chapel, 520 Lake Street.
