Jeanella TenHave, age 94, of Jamestown, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, April 28, 2019.
Jeanella graduated from Zeeland High School before attending Hope College. She was an active member of Jamestown Reformed Church prior to her last years spent living at Royal Atrium and Vista Springs. Preceding retirement, she loved interacting with kids as a long-time bus driver for Hudsonville Public Schools. Jeanella had an inspirational faith having lost two children (Barbara and Holly Lee) and her husband Hollis, early in life. She continually showed a zest for life. She loved her family, friends, knitting, playing cards, singing in the choir, Tiger baseball, Hope College basketball and all things of nature.
Jeanella is survived by her children: Lewis (Cindy) TenHave of Houston, Nancy (Greg) Bekius of Spring Lake; grandchildren: Ryan and Breanne, David and Kenna, Ben and Andie, Todd, Holly and Mark, Tyler and Katie, Kelsey and Trevor; eight great-grandchildren, loving nieces and nephews and her sister-in-law Beth Ten Have. The family so appreciates her long-time care giver and friend, Pat Paasman.
A service of celebration will be held at Jamestown Reformed Church (2554 Riley St., Jamestown 49427), Saturday, May 18
th
at 11:30 am, with luncheon to follow. Private interment in Jamestown Cemetery will precede the service. Guests may meet the family prior to the service 10:30 am Saturday.
