Paul
R. Dykstra, age 82, of Zeeland, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday,
September 3, 2019.
He was the son of Cornelius and Rena Dykstra and was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Dave and Jim.
He was a graduate of Holland Christian and Tri State College in Angola, Indiana. He was employed as an electrical engineer and in his retirement he enjoyed woodworking, carving, bowling and golfing.
Paul will lovingly be remembered by his wife of 60 years, Carol; children, Barb (Brad) Bauder of Montana, Kathleen (Loren) Mulder of Iowa, Marcia (Paul) DeKleine of Zeeland, Ann (Brent) Mohr of Zeeland; grandchildren, Jen Reimink, Elizabeth (Chad) Brinkman, Kristi (Matt) DeRoo, Will (MaryJo) Mulder, Marji Mulder, Brad (Jill) Van Hoven, Beatrice Mulder, Charles Mulder, Miranda Mohr, Caroline Mulder, Kacie DeKleine, Michaela Mohr, Adam DeKleine, Ben DeKleine; 14 great grandchildren; brothers, Neil (Joyce) Dykstra, Bill (Joyce) Dykstra, Phil (Barb) Dykstra; in-laws, Karen Dykstra, Cornie Visser; several nieces and nephews; many special friends from Lake Alfred Ministries.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S. State St. Zeeland with Rev. Breno Macedo officiating. Burial will be in Zeeland Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, September 6, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to Mid America Seminary.
