Kenneth Merriweather, 75, of Fennville, MI passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019 at his home. Born March 5, 1944 in Humnoke, AR, he was the son of the late Jesse and Rosa (Qualls) Merriweather. Kenneth was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing and bird hunting with his dog, Stubby, and tending to the blueberry plants on his hobby farm. He was a talented gunsmith and loved repairing and engraving gunstocks as well as going shooting. Kenneth had a strong faith and belief in Jesus and a deep love for his children and their families.
Kenneth is survived by his wife and life-partner, Ada (VanNieuwland) Merriweather; children, Kenneth (Angel) Merriweather, Diane McCarty and Paula Merriweather; siblings, Jimmy (Pinkie) Merriweather and Vickie (Carl) Valentine; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Katherine Ballard, Pat Merriweather, Wilber “Duck” Merriweather, Jean Robinson, Jesse “Doc” Merriweather and Robert “Bobby” Merriweather.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. No services are planned at this time.
