Roger Brower, 87, of Oakland, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020.
Roger was born June 6, 1933, in Zeeland, Michigan, to Tony and Jennie (Berens) Brower. Roger served his country in the U.S. Army from 1954-1956 at the close of the Korean Conflict. He was a longtime member of Oakland Christian Reformed Church. He married Elaine Duimstra in 1959 and they raised their four children on the family farm in Oakland.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Elaine, their children: Sally (Kurt) Post, Patti (Jamie) Callahan, Julie (John) Vander Woude, Dean (Deb) Brower, twelve grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, sister Alma Jean (Jim) Keppel, in-laws: Dorothy Brower, Gordon (Connie) Duimstra, William (Sharon) Duimstra, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A worship service in honor of Roger Brower will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday July 23, 2020, at Oakland Christian Reformed Church, 4460 38

Street, Hamilton MI 49419. Interment will be in Bentheim Cemetery.
A time to remember and celebrate the life of Roger Brower will be 6-8 pm, Wednesday, at the Brower Home, 4440 34
