HOLLAND, MI (WHTC AM/FM) – Three of five Republican candidates for Michigan governor in the August 2 primary will appear in person at a candidate forum hosted by the Ottawa County Republican Party and several other groups Tuesday night.
Tudor Dixon, Ryan Kelley, and Ralph Rebandt are scheduled to appear in person, with Garrett Soldano and Kevin Rinke appearing via video link.
Results of a new survey released Monday, conducted by Mitchell Communications & Research and commissioned by MIRS, show Dixon surging ahead, now holding an 11% lead over her rivals with 26% of the vote.
Dixon recently picked up key endorsements from Right to Life of Michigan, the Michigan Chamber of Commerce, and the powerful DeVos family.
The forum will be held at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 501 East 24th Street, Holland from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
It will also be streamed at lbcholland.com beginning at 6:00 p.m.
