GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, MI (WHTC AM/FM) – A 35-year-old Georgetown Township man is in custody and pending arraignment after allegedly stabbing woman Monday evening.
At 8:41 p.m. the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a stabbing which just occurred in the 100 block of Baldwin Street in Georgetown Township.
Paramedics from the Sheriff’s Office arrived on scene and began life saving efforts to a 30-year-old female found outside of the residence with a puncture wound to her upper torso. She was stabilized and transported to a local hospital for further treatment.
The male suspect was taken into custody on scene without incident.
The stabbing remains under investigation by the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
