Grand Valley State swept a basketball doubleheader at Northern Michigan last night. In the opener, Kayla Dawson scored 18 points as the women won, 68-61. Ryan Sabin’s 15-point, 10-rebound performance helped the men take the nightcap, 62-53. The Lakers are in Houghton to face Michigan Tech in another round ball twin bill tomorrow afternoon.
In state major college basketball last night, Oakland beat visiting Green Bay, 69-66.
Hope College basketball tomorrow finds the men at Olivet, with broadcast time on 92.7 The Van at 2:40 PM, and the women home to Calvin at DeVos Fieldhouse.
