WAYLAND, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Authorities are investigating the death of a Wayland man on Saturday evening.
The Wayland Police Department responded to a call at 9:43 p.m. of a suicide, where a 75-year-old victim had suffered an apparent gunshot wound.
Wayland area EMS and Wayland Fire Department first responders began emergency medical care once on scene and transported the victim to Metro Hospital. The victim did not survive and his name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
This case remains under investigation.
