HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Ottawa County Sheriff’s marine patrol deputies worked Friday at Holland State Park for nearly three hours, searching again for the body of Eliza Jane Trainer, 16.
She was swept off the pier by a big wave on Jan. 1, 2020. Divers were unsuccessful, but Sheriff’s Capt. Mark Bennett said the search will continue, as weather allows.
The search for Hunter Arlo Klompstra, the Coopersville resident who disappeared after leaving a Jan. 1, 2020, party to walk home, will also continue as conditions allow, Bennett said.
