HOLLANd (WHTC-AM/FM) — A two-vehicle crash caused injuries just before 2 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2020, in Robinson Township, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s authorities.
It happened when a westbound driver — a 51-year-old Grand Haven woman — on Lincoln Street suddenly slowed, just east of 128th Avenue.
A second westbound vehicle, with a 22-year-old Grand Haven woman at the wheel, attempted to pass the first vehicle, moving into the eastbound lane.
That’s when the first driver attempted turning onto southbound 128th, moving into the path of the second vehicle, which then collided with this first vehicle’s driver-side door. The 51-year-old Grand Haven woman was pinned in her vehicle, then extricated by Robinson Township Fire. She went by ambulance to North Ottawa Community Hospital with non-life -threatening injuries. The driver of the second car was not injured, nor was her passenger, a 50-year-old Grand Haven man.
