UPDATE: She’s been found, according to Allegan County Sheriff’s officials.
HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Allegan County Sheriff’s officials have issued a missing-and-endangered alert for Kathy Ann Elbert. She’s described as a 42-year-old white female, about 5-foot-7 tall, 250 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing a brown sweatshirt, jeans and red shoes.
Sheriff’s deputies were called after she walked away from an adult-care home in Gun Plain Township in southeast Allegan County.
An employee of the foster-home found her at the Dollar Tree store in Plainwell on Saturday, April 11, 2020, but Elbert refused to go back to the home with the care worker, police siad.
Elbert must take medication to maintain her stability, and police and family are asking for anyone’s help in finding her; she is believed to be in the Plainwell or Kalamazoo area.
