First reading of a rezoning requests to move Panther Drive, just east of 136th Avenue, from office-and-service to low-density residential. The rezoning request, from Habitat for Humanity, is to build at least two homes on the site. The township planning commission recommended against rezoning, saying the site is too small for the plans and doesn’t fit the township’s master plan.
