ZEELAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, June. 15, 2022) – For those who are traveling in the city of Zeeland this evening, watch out for those pedaling their way along.
The first Cycling the City event of the season begins at the Main Street Bicycle Company. The 6:30 PM non-competitive, seven-mile-long group ride is open to all ages, but a helmet is required, and participants will need to provide their own two-wheeler, although organizers are silent about those who may wish to cruise on a unicycle.
Cycling the City is aimed at bringing cyclists together in a social, casual setting, with different routes planned for tonight, July 13th and August 10th to showcase Zeeland’s neighborhoods and attractions. A “vintage treat” awaits those at the end of their ride, and each trip is weather-dependent.
