HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A car-motorcycle crash critically injured a 43-year-old Grand Haven man Thursday afternoon, May 7, 2020.
The crash, on Van Buren Street near 16th Avenue in Georgetown Township, happened when a 67-year-old Hudsonville woman driving a Ford Taurus turned from westbound Van Buren to southbound 16th, into the path of a Harley Davidson motorcycle, that had been eastbound on Van Buren.
The motorcycle hit the car’s front-passenger quarter panel.
The Hudsonville woman was not physically hurt. Police did not indicate if the Grand Haven man was wearing a helmet. Police closed the intersection for an investigation and clean-up that lasted about two hours.
