HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Ottawa County’s COVID-19 death toll reached 36 on Tuesday, May 26, 2020.
The news victims are three women: one in her 50s, one in her 70s and one in her 80s; and two men, one in his 30s and one in his 80s. Each had underlying health conditions, according to county health officials.
Overall, county records reflect 787 residents who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and nearly 60 now hospitalized,with 282 considered recovered.
Allegan County health officials indicated that 211 residents have the virus; another 32 have probable cases and 20 are hospitalized, with 124 considered recovered. Allegan County’s death toll remains at six.
