HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Allegan County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a stabbing in Lee Township.
Allegan Sheriff’s Capt. Scott Matice emailed a statement to media indicating a man in his 50s called police to say he’d been stabbed by 61-year-old Lee Township resident Paris Sylvester Covington Jr. after a confrontation over a vehicle at 10 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2020.
Police arrested Covington on suspicion of assault with a dangerous weapon. The victim’s injuries required medical treatment but were non-life-threatening, according to police.
