ALLEGAN COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Allegan County Health Department (ACHD) has announced that twice-weekly drive-thru COVID-19 testing is now being offered at Intercare Pullman.
The testing sessions will happen on Tuesday and Thursday each week from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Officials say that if an individual has experienced challenges in being tested and are experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19, they can call the ACHD COVID-19 Hotline at 269-686-4546 or their medical provider to be screened.
The hotline is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Messages received outside of hours, including weekends and holidays, will be returned the next business day.
Symptoms related to COVID-19 include the following –
- fever
- chills
- cough
- shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- fatigue
- muscle or body aches
- headache
- new loss of taste or smell
- sore throat
- congestion or runny nose
- nausea or vomiting
- diarrhea
Participants are asked to bring a health insurance card if they are insured. However, insurance is not required for testing. If a citizen does not have insurance, there will be no cost for the test.
