HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Brandon Hinz has been named Executive Director — Chief — of South Haven Area Emergency Services.
Outgoing ED/Chief Ron Wise will continue on in an advisory role until he officially retires in September. He joined SHAES in 1989 and served as Executive Director — the Chief — since 2008.
Hinz has been a firefighter/paramedic with South Haven Area Emergency Services since 1999. He is a lifelong resident of the South Haven community, he started as a paid-on-call responder and since 2005 has been a fulltime firefighter/paramedic. In 2012 he was presented the department’s Leadership Award.
South Haven Area Emergency Services provides fire and emergency medical protection to the City of South Haven, Casco Township, Geneva Township and South Haven Township.
