HOLLAND (WTHC-AM/FM) — Holland Farmers Market is open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, Saturday, June 13, 2020.
Market Master Sara Cozolino says the warmer crops are beginning to appear: strawberries, summer squash, carrots, onions, snap peas and green beans, kale and fresh greens.
Gardeners can still get some seedlings to transplant, she said.
Street performers are on hold in the market, for the time being, she said, because they encourage people to congregate and get close to each other — which can encourage the spread of COVID-19.
There will be no night market this year, she said, “for a number of reasons.”
Masks are required and the number of people allowed into the marektplace continues to be limited, to allow for social distancing.
