HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – The name of the 26-year-old Holland man who died in a motorcycle crash before dawn on Saturday has been disclosed.
Officers were called to a parking lot of a business off of Waverly Road near M-40 around 6:15 AM by an employee of that business, who came upon the body of a 26-year-old Holland man and his machine, lying in the parking lot. It was determined that the biker apparently lost control on a curve along Waverly Road just before the M-40 junction. The motorcycle left the roadway, went airborne, struck a utility pole, and landed in the parking lot.
On Monday, Public Safety officials disclosed the name of the motorcyclist – Tyler Alan Alberda.
