HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Holland fire officials are saying a discarded cigarette started the fire at the Burger King, 735 Michigan Ave., in Holland Tuesday afternoon, June 30, 2020.
Firefighters were called to the scene on the report of a possible fire in the wall and found smoke in the building.
The fire started as a result of a cigarette in mulch next to the building and never got inside the walls. The exterior had minimal damage, according to Holland fire officials.
