HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Ottawa County is seeking nominations for the Excellence in Equity Award. The deadline to nominate someone is Aug. 31, 2020.
The award started 2019 to recognize people who affect the public sector field in Ottawa County and promote equity through their practices, programs, policies and decision making.
“The Excellence in Equity Award affords the opportunity to celebrate and learn from the accomplishments of public sector individuals who are succeeding with improving equity in their respective organizations,” said Al Vanderberg, Ottawa County administrator.
The award is presented at the county’s annual Diversity Forum. In 2019, Reyna Masko was honored with the very first Equity In Excellence Award.
