ST. JOSEPH, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – A series of Tele-Town Halls on COVID 19 and its impact on older Michiganders continues on Friday.
Held by Republican Congressman Fred Upton of St. Joseph, the next session begins at 3 PM. “We continue to reach out to folks, trying to get medical information that’s out there, real experts in terms of what’s going on,” he said on “WHTC Morning News” during his weekly interview on Tuesday. “I remind people that on our website, you can look at my ‘Kitchen Table’ daily report, and I’ll be talking about it then, as we communicate with constituents across the district.”
According to Upton, more than 1,300 were connected in the first session held on Monday. Those wishing to participate in the next tele-town hall on Friday afternoon can call 877-228-2184, with the meeting code of 119136#.
Another session is set for next Thursday, July 16th, at 10 AM, with the same phone number and code.
