HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Ottawa County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a shots-fired incident at 3360 Hillcrest Drive in Zeeland. No one was hurt.
Police were summoned at 3:25 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2020, on the report of a person breaking into cars in the area.
The homeowner at 3360 Hillcrest confronted the suspect, who pulled out a gun and fired a single shot at the homeowner, according to police. The suspect then ran south on Hillcrest.
Police, including a K-9 team, tracked the suspect to a nearby business, where the track ended.
