OTSEGO TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Wednesday, the Southwest Enforcement Team (SWET) North Office conducted a search warrant at 30 South 16th Street in Allegan County’s Otsego Township.
The search warrant was the result of an extensive investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine in the area.
After making initial contact, detectives located four people at the location. During a search of the property, crystal methamphetamine was located along with evidence of methamphetamine production.
Two of the people found at the property were arrested. A 29-year-old male from Otsego was lodged at the Allegan County Jail for possession of methamphetamine.
A 36-year-old male from Otsego was lodged at the Allegan County Jail for possession of methamphetamine, operating / maintaining a drug house, and operating / maintaining a methamphetamine laboratory.
Authorities were assisted by the Michigan State Police Emergency Support Team, the Michigan State Police Wayland Post, and the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office.
