HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A 30-year-old West Olive man suffered non-life-threatening in a single-car crash just after 7:45 p.m. Saturday July 18, 2020.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the cash, on Lake Michigan Drive at Lakeshore Drive Grand Haven Township. They learned the man had been driving a 2002 Audie sedan west on Lake Michigan Drive, but did not stop for the stop sign at Lakeshore Drive.
The Audi crossed the intersection, hitting a tree, then a retaining wall.
The West Olive man went by ambulance to North Ottawa Community Hospital for treatment of his non-life-threatening injuries.The crash remains under investigation, but authorities believe alcohol appearsto be a factor in this crash.
