HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Allegan County Health Department officials have announced a cardboard and paper recycling event, as a partnership with Broken Arrow Recycling and Pratt Industries.
This three-month pilot program is set to start Sept. 1, 2020, and is free for Allegan County residents and businesses, who can recycle an unlimited quantity of cardboard and paper.
Doing so will saves trees, reduced CO2 emissions, save water and preserve landfill capacity, county health officials said in an statement emailed to media.
Starting Sept. 1, any resident or business can bring the following types of cardboard and paperboard to Broken Arrow Recycling, 1100 Lincoln Rd., Allegan.from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, or 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays:
