CASCO TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – A residence north of South Haven went up in flames last night.
According to South Haven Area Emergency Services, several departments were dispatched to the home off of 60th Street near 111th Avenue in Casco Township around 6 PM on a report of a blaze. Crews were able to bring the fire under control, but not before the structure sustained heavy damage.
No first responders or any residents were injured, and while one family dog was able to escape, another canine died in the blaze. There was no immediate determination of a cause of the fire or of any cost estimate of damage as the incident remains under investigation.
