HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – An investigation into the circumstances that led to the death of a 33-year-old man whose body was found on Holland’s East Side on Saturday morning.
According to Captain of Police Administrative Services Keith Mulder, Holland Department of Public Safety officers were dispatched to a field along US-31 south of East 16th Street around 10:30 AM on a report that a body was found lying there. There were no signs of trauma on the body, and officers initially found no suspicious items at the scene. An autopsy into the cause of death is slated for next week.
Mulder added that the man was not from this area and wouldn’t give the man’s identity pending notification of family members.
