HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The flood warning continues for the Grand River at Robinson Township through Monday evening, March18, 2019, according to the National Weather Service’s Grand Rapids meteorologists.
Flood stage is 13.3 feet, as as of Sunday morning the river was at 13.5 feet. The river crested at 13.6 feet on Saturday, and will continue to slowly fall.
Minor flooding is expected to continue at least though Monday, with the eastern edge of Van Lopik and the western edge of Limberlost roads begin to flood. flooding begins to occur in low lying areas in deer creek park.
The last significant floo was on Feb. 28, 2019, when the river crested at 13.7 feet.
