HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — An Allendale crash sent a Grand Rapids woman to Spectrum Health Butterworth just before 10 p.m. Saturday, April 06, 2019, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Rick Sykes.
It happened on Lake Michigan Drive near 40th Avenue in Allendale Township, where deputies found Grand Rapids resident Jordain Davis, 22, injured. She’d been westbound on Lake Michigan Drive on her 2017 moped, in the passing lane, when her moped was hit by a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu, with Allendale resident Samantha Stoddard, 22, at the wheel.
Davis, who’d been wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, went by Life EMS ambulance to Spectrum Health Butterworth in Grand Rapids. Stoddard was not injured, according to police.
Allendale Township firefighters assisted at the scene.
