OTTAWA COUNTY (WHTC-AM/FM) — A two-vehicle Tallmadge Township crash at 6:15 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2019, injured three people, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Chris Dill.
It happend on Eighth Avenue at Lincoln Street, where, police found a 48-year-old Tallmadge Township man had been driving a Lincoln MKX east on Lincoln, stopped for the stop sign at the intersection, and was struck by a GMC Yukon with a 39-year-old Tallmadge Township woman at the wheel, headed south on Eighth, which does not have a stop sign at that intersection.
39y/o female struck him. Southbound 8th Avenue does not have a stop sign at this intersection.The Lincoln driver his passenger went by LIFE EMS to Metro Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.The GMC’s driver was treated at the scene and released.
The crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office; no names are being released at this time.
