HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – Although next Wednesday’s business meeting is expected to be eventful, the Holland City Council will address a number of issues during this evening’s work-study session.
On the agenda for the discussion is the budget and strategic business plan for Fiscal 2020, the financial spending blueprint that Council is expected to hold a formal hearing on before voting on it next week. Among other topics, the governing panel for the Tulip City will look over a Unified Development Ordinance, get an update on the Waterfront Holland initiative that centers on the future of the James DeYoung power plant site, and talk about a housing policy incentive request involving the Kensington Place proposed development.
No formal votes are taken during these bi-weekly Council study sessions, with this evening’s discussion, which is open to the public, beginning around 5:30 PM in the Second Floor Training Center at Holland City Hall.
