HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – Officially, the 90th Tulip Time Festival reaches the halfway mark of its eight-day run following today’s activities.
Unofficially, Holland’s annual signature event stretches over 11 days, with Dutch Dancing rehearsals beginning last Thursday and various activities centered at the Heeringa Holland Civic Center Place slated for Mother’s Day this coming Sunday.
Some “regular” events are on today’s calendar, such as Tulip City Tours, Tall Ship Dockside Tours, Lindy Lou Cruises, Dutch Marktplaats, Quilt Show, Art in Bloom Exhibit, Carnival and Dutch Dancing.
Evening attractions include Gary Todd – “The New Odyssey Guy” – for the second night of his three-night appearance at the Haworth Inn, “The Sunshine Boys” performance at the Holland Civic Theatre, the “Dazzle” local high school talent showcase at Central Wesleyan Auditorium, and a Dutch Comfort and Craft Dinner at Big Lake Brewing.
