HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The Holland Farmers Market is set to open for the season at 8 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2019. No dogs or other pets are allowed into the marketplace.
The market is comprised of more than 100 vendors, set up in the parking lot, and partially inside the Holland Civic Center Place, 150 W. Eighth St. in Holland. Booths feature fruits and vegetables, plants and flowers, bread and baked goods, honey, maple syrup, bottled juices, meat and cheese, and a variety of other items.
Wednesday and Saturday markets continue through Dec. 21, 2019.
A Monday night market will run every Monday in June, July and August from 5 – 8 p.m. in the Civic Center parking lot.
This year Yoga at the Market drop-in classes start at 9 a.m. on May 15, on the second floor of the Civic Center; the fee is $10.
Bridge Cards, Double-Up Food Bucks, Senior FRESH, WIC Project FRESH and Prescription for Health are all accepted at the market. Market Bucks gift certificates and market tote bags are available.
