HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The Senior Marketing Group of the Lakeshore Area will host the 14th Annual Senior Community Day from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2019, at Central Wesleyan Church, 446 W. 40th St. in Holland.
The focus will be products, services and education designed especially for seniors, their caregivers and families.
Organizers expect to see as many as 800 people at this free event.
“We are very proud to offer this special day to the senior of West Michigan,” said Cathy Blackburn, who leads Senior Marketing Group. “Many hours of planning by a large group of senior marketing groups members have going into creating this day. Our goal is to offer a day where seniors can come to connect with others, learn how to improve their quality of life, and benefit from the many free health screenings and services that are offered. Each year the event has grown and we anticipate this year will be our biggest year yet.”
Visitors will find more than 70 resource booths hosted by area businesses, along with 12 educational seminars and 20 screenings or similar services.
The first 500 people to register will receive a free box lunch.
