HOLLAND (WTHC-AM/FM) — Zeeland hosts its first Cycling the City event at 6:30 tonight, Wednesday, June 12, 2019. Riders meet at the Main Street Bicycle Company, 201 E. Main Ave.
Cycling the City is a social-group ride through the streets and paved pathways of Zeeland and this year is set for today, as well as July 10, and Aug. 14.
Organizers asy this slow ride is an all-ages event, a simple cruise through town, not a race.
Cyclists must bring their own bikes and helmets — helmets are required.
Organizers will hand out what they are calling “vintage treats” at the end of the ride.
The route changes with each month and each ride follows a 7-mile path. Cycling in the City is free.
