HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Eighth Day Farm’s Farm to Fork 2019, is set for 5:30 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, July 31, 2019
The farm’s annual party is at the group’s urban farm at the Holland Town Center, 12330 James St., in Holland Township.
Eighth Day vegetables will be featured in dishes food prepared by local chefs, served with beer and wine from local producers; a roasted pig from a Holland-area farm; live music; kids activities; and a silent auction.
Each ticket costs 45 dollars — kids 12 and under are free — and includes admission, food, two drink tickets, and two raffle tickets.
Nate Roberts and Phil DiCicco will provide music.
Eighth Day farmers indicated the event has a cornucopia of supporters: Our Brewing Company, Coach Stop Farm, The Farmhouse Deli, Lemonjellos Coffee, Chef Jen from Cooking is Caring, Chef Justen from Just Enjoy, Fenn Valley Vineyards, Porch Light Productions (formerly Relish)DeBoer Bakkerij, Botanas Pa’ty, and Saunders Family Bakery.
Ferris Coffee helped the farmers make the event 100 percent compostable and Spring Sweet donated centerpieces.
